Hi there! My name is Susan Guo and I am happy you've come to find out more about me.

 

I am currently undergoing a few major mid-20s life changes. My major in undergrad was Global Business, and I landed a job at Hearts and Science, where I worked on the Video Investment team for the AT&T client. After close to two years at Hearts, I realized the job wasn't really for me.

What now? I'm going to be a teacher! I started my graduate studies at Teachers College Columbia University in the fall of 2024 pursuing a degree in Bilingual/Bicultural Childhood Education. My upbringing as an American-Born Chinese in a bilingual family in NYC's Chinatown has played a huge role in my decision to pivot to a career in bilingual education. In pursuing this degree, I ultimately hope to ease the learning process for students of bilingual backgrounds, feed their curious minds, and make learning enjoyable.
